2019 Fall Kids’ Fest

Saturday, November 2

10 am—2 pm

Kids' Fall Fest is scheduled for Saturday November 2 10am-2pm.  This is a way for us to connect with the community and do something fun while we do that. This event is outreach at its finest.   This is an all hands on deck event to make it happen. You will find in the back of the sanctuary, a sign-up sheet for several different jobs at the fair. If you have any questions reach out to Pastor Paige.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, October 22 at 6:00 pm

Spiritual Writing Class

Sign up for Spiritual Writing Class. There are many ways to get in touch with your deepest self.
You could pray or meditate or take a long walk or dream or visit a pastor or… with so many ways, why write? This class will wonder that question together as we attempt to get in touch with our small still voice inside (that’s God…)

We will gather ONCE a month to learn and share. Part of the time will be learning, some will be writing, some will be non-forced sharing.

We will gather the First Tuesday's at 6:30pm starting on October  1.

The consistory is thinking of buying new hymnals. The ones we currently have were published 30 years ago. We are entering into a discernment process as to which hymnal will be best for us.

For the next  8-10 weeks we may be singing NEW music in worship.. You might hear familiar tunes to different words, or different tunes to different words or all around different. We will sing some contemporary/praise and worship and some new hymns.

Consistory needs your feedback! Please rate the hymns on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest.

Please submit your feedback in the box in the back. If you have any questions please reach out to Pastor Paige.

Movie Club has been having such a great time! Pastor Paige has decided to keep them going through the year. Due to a family emergency has been rescheduled for October.  Movie Club will next meet on October 13th at 6:30. We will watch Saving Mr. Banks.

“Grounded in Faith, Growing to Serve”

October is Stewardship Month. This year the theme is “Grounded in Faith, Growing to Serve”

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:7)

We hope to capture the Spirit of who we are as a church and what we are trying to accomplish for the Kingdom of God.

Volunteers needed in October
